Taize Prayer during Lent

Taize Prayer during Lent

Holy Rosary will be holding the lenten Taizé Prayer Service on Wednesday March 21 at 7:30 p.m. For those of you who do not know what Taizé is all about, it originated in the Burgundy Region of France back in the 1940s. It involves singing simple, memorable songs, mixed with scripture and reflection in a communal spirit. The purpose is to enter into contemplation and the presence of God. It is a beautiful meditative and spiritual experience and it would be wonderful if you could join us on this evening. All are welcome.

Psalm 100:2

Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!

Psalm 100:2

James 1:22

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

James 1:22

Matthew 18:20

Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew 18:20

1 Corinthians 12:27

“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”

1 Corinthians 12:27
