Holy Rosary Church offers several programs as part of our outreach ministry. These groups are available to anyone and are meant to create a community to help and guide during times of need. Below are descriptions and information about each of our outreach programs.
Helping the Poor
Holy Rosary is proud to support the Oak Table Inc. – A community of Compassion and Hope.
Oak Table Inc. began as an outreach ministry of Augustine United Church in 1981, as a way of reaching out to the neighbourhood community in Osborne Village. Holy Rosary Church began supporting Oak Table Inc. in 2015 and we continue our commitment to provide food, clothing and essentials to bring hope to the community that uses the services.
Today both Holy Rosary Church and Oak Table Inc. have a strong foundation in the Village and we are proud to continue the efforts of helping the community.
Holy Rosary is also proud to provide a Christmas lunch annually for those in need. The catered hot lunch is provided to people in the Community that use Oak Table services. Our Church community is proud to be able to bring the joy of Christmas to the needy.
Cocaine Anonymous is a twelve-step program for people who seek recovery from drug addiction. Meetings are held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday starting at 6:30 pm. Anyone seeking help is welcome to share their experience, find and give strength and seek hope. Walking through our doors may be your first step to a new life.
Are you or someone you know in need of a support group? Holy Rosary Church is now offering a 13 week support program from Divorce Care.
