Congratulations on your engagement and your decision to enter into Holy Matrimony. It is exciting that you have decided to share this lifelong commitment and sacrament inside the church. The Archdiocese of Winnipeg requires all couples who are having a church ceremony, attend a marriage preparation program. There are many ways of delivering this, but Holy Rosary is blessed to offer and deliver this program in person.
Our facilitators have many years of marriage, and deliver a program that is most relevant with today’s topics and share their many years of experience. You are required to attend 4 consecutive weekly sessions – 2 hours per session whether you have been together for a short or long period of time. We are sure you will have fun during our time together and will be able to take away a lot of useful information. The feedback received from those attending has been very positive and enthusiastic.
Dates, times and cost of the sessions are usually announced in November and class sizes are limited. Couples having their ceremony at Holy Rosary Church are given priority, with a spot but if space allows we can also take couples from other parishes.
