100th Anniversary

As we begin the year to our 100th Anniversary Let’s take a look backwards. Each month we will look at the church’s decades going back to when it all started.

This first decade brought with it so many events. Covid19 emptied our pews and cancelled many of our community events but brought us Live-stream service. Before that, we enjoyed celebrations in our church hall with good food and great friends. We had annual appreciation dinners and spaghetti dinners from the Women’s Auxiliary and All Saints feast parades. Our Catechism enjoyed visits from St Nick at their annual Christmas concert. Our Youth group held fundraisers for their friend. We had proud moments when Father Sam was recognized for the first Heart of the Lion’s award from the Son’s of Italy and we enjoyed a great birthday surprise from the Sister of the Rock.  We also had to say Good bye to many family and friends of our parish, they may be gone but will always be in our prayers.
