Holy Rosary Church is committed to our community and parishioners. As needs and society evolve so does our outreach. Several long-term programs have become a staple of our parish. Whenever possible we join efforts with outside groups to make an impact for the betterment of all.
Some groups are organized and run through Holy Rosary based on identified needs, while others we connect with established programs to offer more support. We also have outside programs that use our parish to run their programs as intendant from the parish.
These groups are available to anyone and are meant to create a community to help and guide during times of need. Below are descriptions and information about the programs.
Holy Rosary is proud to support the Oak Table Ministry Inc. – A community of Compassion and Hope.
Oak Table Inc. began as an outreach ministry of Augustine United Church in 1981, as a way of reaching out to the Osborne Village neighbourhood. Holy Rosary Church began supporting Oak Table Inc. in 2015 and we continue our commitment to provide food, clothing and essentials to bring hope to those that reply on the services provided by Oak Table.
Today both Holy Rosary Church and Oak Table Inc. have a strong foundation in the Village and we are proud to continue the efforts of helping the community.
Over the past years Holy Rosary has been proud sponsors of the annual Christmas lunch. The catered hot lunch is provided to people in the Community that use Oak Table services.

It’s designed to bring together people who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Sometimes healing comes from sharing.
Our Compassion Connection brings together people to support each other, to help the healing process. by remembering that our departed are now at eternal rest with God the Father.
Everyone is welcome to attend and find support while enjoying a cup of coffee. Meetings are throughout the year. For more information or to register for a session, please contact Tonina at 204 284-5140 or tonina@holyrosarychurch.ca

Our newest ministry created during the COVID pandemic. Holy Rosary recognized the struggles many faced with being isolated and unable to connect with people. The Community Connection outreach is created to connect with our parishioners and ensure they are coping and receiving spiritual support. The contact can be a simple phone call to ensure the parishioners needs are being met, sharing a prayer with them or maybe connecting them to aids they may be needing. As the needs of our community evolves so will this ministry.
The Goal is to provide support and a helping hand to those that need it, with and those that can provide it. This ministry truly is doing God’s work with our Hands.
