Our Parishioners are proud to be a part of a diverse community that come together to celebrate culture and faith. The Social Committee has a mission to bring together families – old and new, young and wise, in fellowship to build a bond in our community.
Planning goes on all year for events to be celebrated in and around our parish. Everyone is welcome to these events, Volunteers and sponsors are welcomed with open arms. Some events are free and others charge a fee to cover costs. Some of the annual events include:
a) Women’s Auxiliary Annual Spaghetti dinner– sponsored in late October of each year. This event is their main fundraiser to help support many church and charity events. Tickets usually sell out fast as many look forward to a traditional Italian meal mixed with fellowship, entertainment and prizes. To join or help with the Women’s Auxiliary see their page under Ministries.
b) Saints Festa Social and procession– Every year in April we host a fundraiser social in honor of our saints. The social evening includes food and dancing and connecting with friends and community. The money raised from the social is used to fund the celebrated in August with a Mass and procession in honor of patriate Saints and all saints. Both the social and procession are very well attended and loved by the community of Holy Rosary. Check out our calendar of events for dates and times.
c) Fellowship Sundays– In keeping with the desire to strengthen our faith community, Holy Rosary volunteers organize and host monthly events over the fall, winter and spring seasons. Each event will have a theme along with food and activities. The goal of these fellowship Sundays is to bring together our community, welcome visitors and new parishioners and to share our different cultures within one faith.
